分詞：包括現(xiàn)在分詞和過去分詞兩類。

現(xiàn)在分詞由動詞原形+“ing”構(gòu)成。規(guī)則動詞的過去分詞由動詞原形+“ed”構(gòu)成。

（1）作定語

China is a developing country.

It is a well-written article.

（2）作表語

This novel is very interesting.

The theory sounds quite convincing.

（3）作狀語

①表示時間

Having worked for three hours,she took a rest.

Opening the drawer,he took out a book.

②表示原因

Inspired by the teacher,the students studied even harder.

③表示伴隨或方式

Laughing and talking,the children went out into the garden.

④表示結(jié)果

The bus was held up in the snowstorm,thus causing the delay.

Last year the yield climbed again,reaching 1,300 kilograms.

（5）作獨立主格
